Posting on behalf of a course member who is after resources in regards to sex-educations. She has a 7 year old son.

Gen & Wendy – Do you have any links that may be helpful?

We have a book called ’Let’s talk about where babies come form’ Robie Harris. It is pretty comprehensive and acknowledges a lot of diversity including adopting babies and same sex relationships. Kind of light hearted but honest and clear. We just have it in with the other books and the kids pick it up from time to time and chat a little at a time about things.

I think I did find that old ‘Where did I Come From’ book in a 2nd hand shop but it was pretty much overridden by daughter discovering loads of animals mating and giving birth on youtube. She also asked tons of questions. Later on, I gave her a copy of Kaz Cooke’s Girl Stuff as a reference. The book you found sounds fab, Tab (cute rhyme :D)
