Hi,

Can anyone give me an example of a time when you managed to follow ‘centre, connect, communicate’ when your children are fighting please?

I always feel like I am in a hurry to stop them from hurting each other. I usually end up shouting ‘be gentle’!! I already realised how ironic that is, but it really hit home with the week 1 video about how our state of calm (or not) impacts so greatly on how our children behave. I just cannot see how to help them resolve the situation without them hurting each other, as once they start hitting they don’t seem to be able to stop.
